Information provided for a booking or enquiry

A booking request can include the guest’s name, email address and phone number; check-in and check-out dates; room category and count; adult and child counts per room; and the age of each child. The record also keeps the quoted price, deposit or balance information, GST-inclusive price details, booking status and the terms presented for acceptance.

The website does not ask you to upload an identity-document image, an ID number, a date of birth or a medical record. The hotel’s check-in and age-proof process is handled separately. Do not send card numbers, card security codes, payment passwords, OTPs, UPI PINs or identity-document images through an accommodation enquiry or by email.

Why this information is used

The hotel uses the information to respond to the request, check the proposed room arrangement, prepare or approve a final quote, communicate its terms, administer a confirmed stay, answer change or refund enquiries, and maintain appropriate booking and accounting records. Contact details are also used for communications relating to that request or booking.

An adult entering a child’s age should be authorised to arrange that child’s stay. Children are 0–17 for this booking process, and ID is mandatory for age proof. Ages are requested to obtain an appropriate hotel quote and confirm room suitability; collecting an age does not establish a child fee or automatically approve extra occupancy.

Payments, service providers and private booking links

Where online payment is enabled and you choose it, Razorpay processes the payment through its checkout. Hotel Max keeps the order or payment reference and the payment status required for the booking; it does not store your card credentials or UPI PIN. Razorpay’s own privacy policy explains the information it receives through its services.

Website hosting, the booking administration system and the configured email service support the handling of requests and booking messages. Access is intended for the hotel and authorised service providers who need it for these purposes. Private reservation links can display booking information, so keep them private and contact the hotel if a link is shared unintentionally.

Cookies and external content

The website uses essential session and security mechanisms so forms and protected booking pages work correctly. Blocking all cookies may prevent parts of the request process from functioning. This policy does not describe an advertising or newsletter programme that has not been enabled.

Hotel photographs are served as local website images. If you choose to open an Instagram post or embedded post, Instagram receives a request from your browser and its own policies apply. A directions link opens an external map service. These services operate independently of Hotel Max; review their privacy choices when using them.

Retention, corrections and privacy concerns

Booking, payment-reference and correspondence records are retained for the purposes for which they are needed, including administration, accounting, resolving disputes and applicable legal requirements. This website does not promise immediate deletion of records that must be kept. The hotel can explain the handling of a particular record when you contact it.

To request a correction, ask about access to information associated with your booking, withdraw a request, or raise a privacy concern, email info@hotelmaxjalandhar.com with the booking reference and the issue. Do not include unnecessary identity or payment credentials. The hotel may need to verify that the request comes from the relevant guest before changing or disclosing a record.
